The role in 2026
What Salesforce CPQ & Revenue Cloud postings look for
Salesforce stopped selling CPQ to new customers in 2025. That is end of sale, not end of life: existing customers keep full support and can renew, so orgs that already run CPQ still need people who can run and improve it. Product bundles, product rules, price rules, discount schedules, quote templates and the quote line editor remain the core of most postings in this area.
The growth area is the successor, Revenue Cloud Advanced, and the move to it. Postings and vendor listings also call it Agentforce Revenue Management, and older material says Revenue Lifecycle Management; the checker treats all three as the same product. Experience with pricing procedures, product catalog management, or planning a CPQ-to-Revenue-Cloud migration is a real differentiator.
Certifications are mid-change too. CPQ Specialist was renamed CPQ Administrator in July 2025 and retires on 1 February 2027. Revenue Cloud Consultant became Revenue Management Consultant on 24 July 2026.

Where to Put Keywords on Your Resume
Where a keyword appears matters to people reading your resume, and some checkers weigh it too.
Summary & Skills sections
Put your top required keywords here. Recruiters scan these first. Our checker adds up to 8 points to the overall score when the job's required skills appear in your Summary or Skills section, scaled by how many of them are there.
Experience bullets
Keywords in experience bullets provide context and evidence. A skill listed in Skills plus proven in experience is stronger than either alone. Use natural phrasing — don't keyword-stuff.
Acronyms vs. full terms
Many checkers treat “ML” and “Machine Learning” as the same keyword, but not all do. Use both forms at least once each.
Exact phrasing matters
Use the exact keyword forms shown above. If the JD says “PostgreSQL” don't only write “Postgres” — include both forms. Minor variations can fail exact-match ATS filters.
FAQ
Questions about Salesforce CPQ & Revenue Cloud resumes
Is Salesforce CPQ still worth putting on my resume?
Yes. CPQ is end of sale for new customers, not end of life. Existing customers keep support and can renew, so many orgs still need people who can run and improve it, and those same orgs will need help moving to Revenue Cloud.
Should I keep CPQ Administrator on my resume if it is retiring?
Yes, if it is relevant to the job. Salesforce says a retired certification is still valid and stays on your Trailblazer profile, marked as retired. After 1 February 2027 it will not show on the certification verification page, so be ready to show your profile, and list it as retired rather than current.
Revenue Cloud Advanced or Agentforce Revenue Management: which should I write?
Use the name in the posting. You will see both, and older material calls it Revenue Lifecycle Management. If your resume uses a different name, add the posting's name once in brackets. The checker treats them as the same product.
